Kondisi tutupan terumbu karang dan kelimpahan ikan karang famili Pomacentridae di perairan Pulau Talam Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

This research was conducted in March 2022 the waters of Talam Island, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatera Province. study aims to determine condition coral reef cover, abundance fish family pomacentridae and relationship between live cover Island. Coral data collection carried out using LIT (Line Intercept Transect) method, with a transect length 50 meters for UVC (Underwater Visual Cencus) visibility limit 2.5 right left. Observations were made at three station points, each depth 4 m, 6 m 8 m. Data is considered represent shallow waters, represents medium deep waters. The results this indicate that average percentage Island 54.74% good category Pomacentridae 4760 ind/ha total 1071 individuals included abundant category. simple linear regression analysis showed correlation coefficient 0.937 determination 0.8787.
